Carl proudly served his country in World War II and was a member of VFW 8911. He became a Kennedale police officer and was a strong supporter of the community. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Kennedale. He loved the outdoors and working with his hands. He retired from Travellite Trailer Co. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Wilma Bedford.
Survivors: His sons, Carl Ray and wife, Chong Bedford, Clyde Bedford and Cecil and wife, Karen Bedford; daughters, Cylinda and Tracey Bedford; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Coaster Bedford; and a host of other family and friends.
