Vernis Bohall

Vernis L. Bohall, a Nashville native, died Friday, June 20, 2003, at Logansport Memorial Hospital. She was 94.

Ms. Bohall was born in Nashville on July 25, 1908. She was the daughter of Mort and Flora (Hall) Deckard.

She married Otis Bohall. He preceded her in death on October 30, 1996. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include four sons, Dale Bohall, of Kokomo, Lowell Bohall, of Bloomington, James Bohall of Logansport and Morris Bohall of Columbus. She had 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, two sisters, Fern Hayes of Washington, Iowa, and Mona Thompson, of Greenfield, and one brother, Thurman Deckard of Ellettsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and two sisters.

Services were on Tuesday, June 24 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel in Kokomo with the Reverend Scott Keehn officiating.

Burial was at Albright Cemetery.
