On May 5, 1930, he married Genevieve Orndoff Shriver, who survives.
He was a member of the Kughtown United Methodist Church and a former
member of the Waynesburg Lodge IOOF. In 1979, he retired from the
Pennsylvania Department of Highways, after several years of service.
He spent his entire life in the Wayne Township are.
In addition to his wife, he survived by one son, Charles W. Shriver
of Waynesburg; four grandchildren: Lee Edwin, Charles B. and John D.
Shriver, all of Waynesburg, and Melodie Stewart of Lorain, Ohio; and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were a son, Jacob Edward Shriver, and a daughter, Betty Jean Shriver SHRIVER -
Friends of Wilbur Shriver, 77 of R.D. 1, Pine Bank, who died Monday, January 6, 1986, will be received in the Glise E. Mariner and Samuel A. Milliken Funeral Home, Waynesburg, where service will be held at
