Kevin Ray Goodman



Kevin Ray Goodman, 45, of Hickory, N.C. died Friday, June 6, 2008 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.

Born October 22, 1962 in Valdese, NC, he was the son of Jessie Fay Smith Goodman and the late Charles Ray Goodman.

Kevin was a purchasing agent for Southwood Furniture Company. He was a member of Highland United Methodist Church and had been an Eagle Scout. Kevin's hobbies included sports and sports officiating. He was one of the most loved customers at Chick Fil-A.

In addition to his mother, Jessie Fay Smith Goodman, he is survived by his wife, Lisa Geouge Goodman of the home; daughter, Ashley Nicole Goodman of the home; and numerous friends and relatives.

A Service of Remembrance will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Highland United Methodist Church in Hickory with the Rev. Stuart Noell officiating.

Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
