Mrs. Eva Augusta Branson, 76, died at 7:15 p.m. Saturday in Springfield Baptist Hospital after a short illness.
She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Branson and her late husband for several years operated a grocery store at Rogers and Division. She had been a Springfield resident for 54 years.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Effie) Cox, a brother, H.O. Barbarick, Chamois; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Talbott, Stringtown, Oklahoma; two granddaughters and five great grandchildren.
