Jonathan Arch Roller, 79, died September 10, 1965 at Passavant Hospital, Jacksonville where he had been a patient for several days.

Mr. Roller was born April 15, 1886, a son of Noah and Catherine Elizabeth Morrell Roller, at Indian Springs, Tenn. He was one of a family of 11 children, 7 boys and 4 girls.

On September 14, 1920 he was united in marriage to Eula Lady of Fordtown, Tenn. He is survived by his wife, one sister, Mrs. Annie Isley of Indian Rocks, Florida and several nieces and nephews.

He spent his adult life engaged in farming in the Waverly and Palmyra communities. He was a member of the Waverly and later the Palmyra Methodist Church. He was an industrious and hard working citizen of the community who will be remembered by his many friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church, Rev. Paul Meradith, pastor, officiating assisted by Rev. Stanley Geiselman of Easton Illinois. Mrs. Era Turner sang two selections with Mrs. A. J. Smith accompanist.

Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery

Pallbearers were Kenneth Roller, Drayton Roller, Jesse Meyers, Geo. Meyers, Geo. Guthals, Alvin Cain.
