MARK LEE ASHLEY, 37, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2008 in Rockport, Texas. He was born May 25, 1971 to Harold and June Anne Ashley in Sinton, Texas. He was a graduate of Rockport-Fulton High School and attended Del Mar College. Mark was a Service Tech for AEP Texas. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish and play golf. His love of life was his daughter, McKenzie, and taking her to the Hooks games. He was very involved in coaching his daughter's minor girls softball league and soccer team.

Mark was very outgoing, never meeting a stranger and was loved by many.

He is survived by his daughter, McKenzie Leigh Ashley of Rockport, parents, Harold and June Ashley of Rockport, and brother, Michael W. (Melody) Ashley of Rockport, niece, Megan Ashley and nephew, Michael Ashley II, both of Rockport and maternal grandmother, June Flowers of Pipe Creek, Texas.

Visitation was held June 5th at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. A funeral services was held June 6th at Peace Lutheran Church. Interment followed at Rockport Cemetery, Rockport, TX.
