Married in Dade County, Georgia on June 17, 1866 to Lewis B. Blevins, CSA Veteran. At the time of the 1870 census, the family were living in Militia District 1129 of Dade County with son William born about 1867); son Marion J.(Jock) born in 1869)., and daughter Mary E. (Born in 1872). They joined a large wagon train from Rising Fawn, Georgia and came to the Grapevine area in 1873.

There is some confusion that Evlina was a Tatum, and I believe this comes from her two sisters marrying Tatum men, and that she lived with sister Mary Tatum as displayed in the 1860 census report.

Evie gave birth to her last child, a boy, on September 13th, so the date of death on her marker is incorrect.
