Alice Ann Mortensen Brown, 58, returned to her loving Heavenly Father Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, at McKay Dee Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones due to an undiagnosed intestinal complication following surgery. She lived a long productive and righteous life of service to her family, church and community. She always shared her testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with her family and friends. She leaves a rich heritage of faith, devotion and charity to all her posterity. She was born June 15, 1949, to Samuel Foy Mortensen and Phyllis Leora Jordan Parker in Brigham City, Utah. She married Larry LeRoy Forsgren Jan 19, 1968 in Bothwell, Utah. They were later divorced. She then married Alan Ralph Muir, June 27, 1986 in Willard, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple June 27, 1987. He passed away Sept. 7, 1994. She then married Dee C. Brown March 16, 1995 in Willard, Utah. She was totally devoted to her family, friends and her religtion. She adored and loved her grandchildren; they were the light of her life. She was always giving of her time and love to all she came in contact with and will be remembered for her love of roses and other beautiful flowers and love of cats.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many auxiliaries, most recently as Young Women president and Relief Society president.
She is survived by her husband, Dee; her children, Jeffery (Verna Sue)L. Forsgren of Denver, Colo., LeAnna (Chad)F. Barlow of Lewiston, Utah, Jason A. Forsgren of Hyrum, Utah, and Amy (Shawn) Dawn Healy of San Diego, California.
Funeral services held 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the Garland LDS Tabernacle. Interment at Woodruff, Utah Cemetery. Published in the Logan Herald Journal.
