Charles P. Tribbett, 78, Rt. 1, Royal Center, died at 1:50 a.m. Monday, May 23, 1983, at Memorial Hospital, Logansport.

Born July 8, 1904, in Carroll County, he was the son of Clarence and Mattie Campbell Tribbett. He was married in 1929 to Maude Helvie, who survives.

A retired farmer, Tribbett was a member and former elder of the Center Presbyterian Church.

Surviving with the wife are five sons; two brothers; two sisters. Mary Trobaugh of Camden and Mabel Wilburn of Rockfield; 17 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Fisher Funeral Home, Logansport, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Carl Polstra and the Rev. David Gill officiating. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery.
