Galatowitsch, Emily Kathleen nee Costello Gene's Anam Cara Age 64 of Afton, died peacefully on May 31, 2008, after a brief illness. She recently retired after more than 40 years of teaching in the Saint Paul Public Schools. She is preceded in death by parents John and Kathleen (Allison) Costello, brother Daniel Costello, brother in-law Kenneth Galatowitsch, sisters in-law Elizabeth Gleb, Beverly and Mary Galatowitsch. Emily is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Gene, her children Nancy Joan Kim, Timothy Ivan and Jeffrey Jin Hwan; siblings Stephen (Joan) Costello, Martin (Barbara) Costello, William (Sue) Costello, Thomas (Jean) Costello, Ann (Mark) Reidell, Ellen Costello, Emmett (Patricia) Costello, Teresa (William) Hansen, and Helen Nere; brothers in-law John Galatowitsch, Peter Galatowitsch, sister in-law Nancy Galatowitsch; and many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
