Mrs. Willie Prater Sain age 97 of Viola, TN, died Saturday, November 15, 2014, at Rain Tree Manor Nursing Center in McMinnville, TN. Born on March 27, 1917, in Warren County, TN, she was a homemaker, a retired beautician, and a member of the Church of Christ at Rockliff. Mrs. Sain was preceded in death by parents John Murf and Media St. John Prater, husband Drannon Sain, daughter Judy Sain Underwood, son-in-law Steve Rowland, sisters Johnnie Ruth Fisher and Christine Cooper, brothers Eustace Prater and Theodore Prater, and great-grandson Jacob Nicholas Reed.
She was married to Drannon Sain on December 24, 1936
Survivors include daughters Donna Sain Rowland and Betty Sain Smith and husband Ralph, son-in-law Bill Underwood, sister-in-law Mildred Prater, grandchildren Shari Underwood Newby and husband Paul, Shawn Underwood Smith, Steven Drannon Rowland, Stacy Smith Wilson and husband Eric, Suzanne Smith Reed and husband Johnny, great-grandchildren Billy Newby and wife Stephanie, Amanda Newby Chambers and husband Paul, Shelby Smith Durham and husband Matt, Sain Smith, Kaci Elizabeth Wilson Daily and husband Justin, Nathanael Wilson, and Justin D. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 18, 2014, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Justin D. Reed and Bro. Carson Rust will officiate. Interment will follow at Viola Cemetery. The Sain Family will receive friends Monday from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. and again Tuesday from 9 A.M. until 11 A.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home
