Mrs. Virgie B. Nave, 88, Athens, died Tuesday at her residence.
The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Sardis Springs Baptist Church with Robert White and Calvin Inman officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Springs Cemetery with Limestone Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Nave was a member of the Sardis Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Joe Nave; and a daughter, Ann Solomon, both of Athens; a sister, Sadie Lynch of Arkansas; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mother, Virgie B. Nave and daughter, Lucille Nave Smith, died on same day.
Lucille Smith, 66, Athens, died about 4:10 a.m. at a Birmingham hospital following an extended illness. Four hours later, her mother, Virgie B. Nave, 88, Athens, died at her residence. She was unaware her daughter had passed away. Joint funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Sardis Springs Baptist Church, were both were members. Both will be buried in the church cemetery.
