Mildred was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother, and a resident of Dexter.
On November 13, 1941 she was united in marriage to Leon McCoy in Bernie, Missouri. Mr. McCoy preceded her in death on July 10, 1955.
Survivors include three sons, Gary McCoy and wife Joyce, Rodger McCoy, and Danny McCoy and wife Jackie all of Dexter; by three daughters, Carolyn Snider and husband Parvin , Rachel Childers and husband Lawson all of Dexter; Kandy Koechner and husband Kevin of Advance, Missouri; one sister, Bessie Woodruff of Dexter; also by thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren; by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Dennis McCoy, Jimmy McCoy, and Darrell McCoy; one sister, Ellen Pullum; by one grandson, Jeff White; and by one granddaughter, Angela Poe.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Sunday May 17, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday May 18, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. James Malloy officiating. Interment will follow at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
