Virginia McCord Moss, of Camden, age 80, were held Tuesday, June 3 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home with Leonard Greer officiating. Burial followed at Camden City Cemetery. Oakdale Funeral Home of Camden was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Moss passed away Sunday, June 1 at Camden General Hospital. She was born Aug. 8, 1927 in Sladen, Miss. to the late Talmage and Lillie Hunsucker McCord.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence McCord.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Moss, of Camden; a son, Phillip Moss, and a daughter, Betty (James) Sanders, both of Memphis; two brothers, Robert (Lynnie) McCord, of Slaughter, La. and Glenn Farrar, of Diamond Head, Miss.; a sister, Chris (Ray Bonura) Burkett, also of Slaughter; six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
