Windfall Ind., Sept. 22 (Tribune Special) - Charles Conway, age eighty-nine, veteran of the Civil War, died at 7 o'clock Monday night at his home northeast of Windfall, following an illness of a complication of diseases. His passing leaves but one Civil War soldier in Wildcat township, the survivor being Madison Wright.
Mr. Conway leaves two daughters and two sons; Mrs. Alonzo Shull of near Sharpsville, Mrs. Mabel Dean. Ed and Wayne Conway, all near Greentown, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. His wife, Caroline, died twelve years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Howard Chapel with the Rev. Mr. Swartz of Greenville in charge. Burial will be in the Forks of the Creek cemetery.
