SHREVEPORT, LA -- Funeral services for Jeffrey Wayne Dodd, age 51, of Shreveport will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 7, 2001 in Centuries Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Willis Dear, associate pastor of First United Methodist Church, assisting will be Rev. Brian Dauphin of Summer Grove United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Dodd was a native and lifelong resident of Shreveport. He graduated from Fair Park High School and was a member of Summer Grove United Methodist Church. He passed away on Tuesday at Willis Knighton South after a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his parents, Myrtle and V. H. Dodd, Jr. of Shreveport; a brother, V. Henry Dodd, III, and wife Janet of Keithville; and sisters, Anita D. Lockwood and husband Buddy of El Dorado, AR and S. R. Dodd and companion, Robert Lawrence of Shreveport. He also leaves the following nieces and nephews, Paul Dodd, Patrick Dodd, Peyton Dodd, Angie Morrow, Skye Callicoatte, Matthew Callicoatte, Chase Callicoate, Jared Dodd, Colby Dodd, Mark Lockwood, Michael Lockwood and Alanna Lawrence. Great nieces and nephews are Emily Morrow and Brandon Morrow.
Pallbearers are Paul Dodd, Patrick Dodd, Peyton Dodd, Chase Callicoatte, Matthew Callicoatte and Ricky Morrow.
