Rita Lavender Gregory, age 67, was fatally injured in an automobile accident Sunday, May 25, 2008.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2008, with Pastors Alfred Thomas and Gary Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Mrs. Gregory was the daughter of the late Elmer V. and Susie Springer Lavender. She was a native of Macon but had made her home in Gordon for many years. Mrs. Gregory and her husband owned and operated Gregory's Gold Smith Shop in Milledgeville. She was a homemaker and member of the Milledgeville Christian Center.
Survivors include her husband, William H. Gregory of Ivey; daughter, Kira C. Gregory of Milledgeville; sisters, Marjorie V. Self of Lizella and Brenda S. Griffin of Milledgeville; two grandchildren, Taylor and Skyla Ross of Milledgeville; nieces and nephews.
