MYRLE JOANNA RUMPEL Born in Salt Lake City on April 5, 1912. Entered peacefully into rest on December 3, 2002 at the age of 90 years. She was a resident of Castro Valley for 48 years. She was the loving mother of Karen Neunzig of Morgan Hill and was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Rumpel and daughter Susan Peters of Castro Valley. She was also the grandmother of Lori Janowski, Rebecca Peters, John Peters, Michael Neunzig and Steven Neunzig. She was great-grandmother to Heather Mendoza, Chasen Peters and Kiley Bradley and great-great-grandmother to Jason Mendoza and Robert Mendoza. Myrle enjoyed crocheting and cooking and loved playing tennis in her younger years. She was a wonderful wife and mother and always put her family's happiness first. Friends are invited to attend her funeral on Monday, December 9, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. in the Mission Chapel at the Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA. Visitations will be from 5;30 to 8:30 Sunday, December 8, 2002.
