Robert Delos La Dow was the third of four children born to Abraham and Louisa (Hammond) La Dow on 15 Sep 1851 in Camden Township, Lorain County, Ohio, and died in Elyria, Lorain County, Ohio, on 24 Jul 1924. He married Minda Jane Gillette on 10 Nov 1875 in Brighton, Lorain County, Ohio, and together they had at least two children: Maud A. and a still-born baby.
