She married Robert Delos La Dow on 10 Nov 1875 in Brighton, Lorain County, Ohio, and together they had at least two children: Maud A. and a still-born baby.

According to the 1910 Federal Census for Carlisle, Lorain County, Ohio, she was listed at "Arminda J." at 58 living with her husband, Robert 58 and Fidelia Gillet, 80 a widow and probably Minda's mother although she was listed as a boarder. Robert's occupation was listed as a farmer.
In the 1920 Federal Census for Elyria Ward 2, Lorain County, Ohio, she was 68 living with her husband, Robert, 68 and Danial S. Wells, age 44, son-in-law; Maud Wells, 11, daughter of Daniel S. Both Robert and Daniel were listed with an occupation of machinist.
She was 78 in the 1930 Federal Census for Elyria, Lorain County, Ohio, living as a widow, with her daughter Maud A. Wells, 51, and son-in-law, James S. Wells, 54. James' occupation was given as shaper in a steel plant.
