L.O. Montgomery. After an illness of several weeks, L. O. Montgomery passed away at his home this morning at 1:30 o'clock. Mr. Montgomery was a pioneer resident of Polk county and one of the oldest and best known real estate men in Des Moines. He leaves a wife and five children, Frank, Melvin, Ernest, Nora, and Mrs. Nellie Fletcher.
L.O. Montgomery who died Sunday, January 19, was formerly a member of company A, Second Iowa Infantry. Comrades of the Second Iowa are requested to attend the funeral at the residence, 942 Tenth Street, at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 20.
