Mary Alice Coffey was born 26 February 1919 in Earlsboro, Oklahoma, daughter of Eaphrom Van Coffey and Mamie Sneed. She attended grade school at Lone Pine, Oklahoma and high school at Wister, Oklahoma. Mary is a homemaker and loves cooking , canning and sewing.

Zeke and Mary were married in 1936. They moved from Spiro, Oklahoma to Central in December of 1940 and first lived in the Smith farmhouse at the east end of Central Road. Zeke worked for James Whitmer on his farm for thirty years. They bought the old Ted Adams home on east Norton Lane and lived there.

They have twin sons: Herman E. and Harmon G., born 22 September 1937. Both boys attended grade school in Central and high school in Thatcher. Herman married Joanna Hancock 11 January 1958. He spent two years S.P.4 United States Army in Lawton, Oklahoma. They have two children: Mark Shaun and Kevin Brad. Harmon G. married Maryleen Nelson and have two children, Debara Kay and Sherry Lynn.
