Charles was a member of Bradbury United Methodist Church. He retired from Boeing with over 30 years.
Preceded in death by his wife, Christine Roberts; parents, James and Frances Roberts.
He is survived by his children: Kimberly Shumard (Mike), Charles Gerald Roberts Jr., and Jonathan Roberts; twin sister, Marilyn Evans (Terry); brothers, Bill Roberts and Freddy Roberts (Joyce); sister-in-law, Claudia Walker, along with many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Saturday morning, September, 10th in the Macedonia Cemetery for graveside services and interment. Full military honors will be conferred by the Loudon County Veteran's Honor Guard.
