John Jacob Myer son of John & Ann Barbara Meyer moved from Friesburg Pa to Pine Creek where he purchased a fine tract of land about 2800. He married Jullia Moore . They were the parents of 5 sons & 7 daughters. When Mr. Myer died his death was from drinking freely from a spring of cold water while on a hunting trip in a forest. Suggested by Kate McFate.
