Funeral Services to be held Wednesday at the Baptist Church
New Market, April 2,--- Mrs. Alice McCoy Foust, aged 68 years, expired of tuberculosis at 5:30 o'clock this evening at her home here. She had been seriously ill for the past ten days.
The deceased was born at Elmdale, Aug. 24, 1865, the daughter of Lindsey and Sarah Jane McCoy, and was married to Joseph Foust, Sept. 7, 1836. She was a member of the New Market Baptist church, having joind about 27 years ago.
Mrs. Foust was the mother of four children, all of whom preceded her in death. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. J.C. Layman, of Waynetown; a brother W. S. McCoy of Lincoln, Neb., and several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. George Lanum of Colfax; Mrs. Mayme Lowry of Wingate, and Lester Utterback, of Crawfordsville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Baptist church here with the Rev. Charles McCarty, pastor, in charge, assisted by the Rev. A. Edrington. Burial will be made at the Masonic cemetery in Crawfordsville.
The body will be taken to the church to lie in state for one hour preceding the services.
