Lynn Addington Funeral Tomorrow

Funeral services will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. for Lynn R. Addington, 67, retired Spokane grocer who died Monday in a Spokane hospital.

The Rev. Kenneth Brabeau, pastor of Unity Church of Truth, will officiate at services at Riplinger's. Burial will be at Riverside.

Mr. Addington was born and reared in Spokane and attended North Central High School. He had Addington's Grocery in the old West Lakes Market at N121 Post for several years after managing Burgan's Grocery in Dishman. Later, Mr. Addington managed the H&D Market in the Valley, Shurfine Grocery at W710 Main and the Benewah Market at E4222 Sprague.

He retired two years ago as manager of the Ranch Thrift Store at E3204 Seventeenth.

Long affiliated with URM, Mr. Addington, was a member of a number of grocery organizations. He was a member and former board member of Unity Church of Truth. As a 30-year resident of the Spokane Valley, he was an active planner of the old Valley Picnics at Liberty Lake.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Dieni Addington, a former longtime resident of Kellogg, at the home, N1728 Cooke; two daughters, Mrs. Elton (Celesta) Frost, and Mrs. Robert (Carolynn) Crews, both of Spokane; two stepsons, Joseph Dieni, Beaverton, Oregon, and Frank Dieni, Colville; his aunt, Myrtle Addingon, Seattle; an aunt and uncle in California; and eight grandchildren.
