Larry was born September 14, 1942 in Omaha, Nebraska to Eldon P. and Bertha M. (Christensen)Parker. Larry grew up in the Anselmo, Thedford, Eddyville, and Bertrand communities.
On March 17, 1960 Larry jointed the United States Army and servied his country until he was honorable discharged on February 28, 1966.
Larry married Carolyn Woehrle on March 16, 1974 in Cozad, Nebraska. Larry drove truck and was a diesel mechanic at GTEC for the last 23 years.
Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, watching westerns and sports on television and he was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan.
Larry is preceded in death by his father and one sister Karen Hild.
Larry is survived by his wife Carolyn Parker of Gothenburg, NE. His mother Bertha Parker of Cozad. Daughters Kim Dewey and her children Tyrell and Morgan of Gothenburg; Tracy and husband Mark Lichtenwalter of Cozad; Barbara her children Alex, LaTasha, Larry, Aareyan, Xavier, Nathaniel and Ryan of Cozad. Two brothers Richard Parker of Buffalo, SD, and Jim and his wife Karen Parker of Lexington, NE, one sister Mickey and husband Lester Nutt of Curtis, NE. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
