SEYMOUR -- Ralph Disney, 72, of Seymour died Tuesday, April 14, 1998, at Community Care Center. He had been ill 1½ years.

He was owner of Disney Welders Co. and was of the Baptist faith. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Voss and Sons Funeral Home, with the Revs. D.G. Morris and James Downey officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until service time Thursday. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by members of Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.

Mr. Disney was born in Seymour Dec. 28, 1925, the son of Minnie Day Disney of Seymour and the late Lincoln Disney. He married Rena M. Neat Feb. 1, 1974, at Brownstown. She survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Betty Barker of Seymour; grandchildren, Andy Barker, Cindy Kuhlman, Lori Henson and Pam Kelley; a brother, Jim Disney of Seymour; and sisters, Helen Gonzales, Nancy Pifer, Lois Disney and Shirley Miller, all of Seymour.
