Suggested edit: Not sure about what he was doing in 1940 but shortly after that he was a truck driver for the carnival which is how he ended up in Moab Ut and married to my grandmother - Cora Mae Johnston (Martin) My father is their second born child and he was born in 1948. And my grandma is currently still alive
