She was the daughter of Cleve and Lottie (Dobyns) Blevins. She grew up west of town near Arpelar, Scipio, Tannehill and mainly the Cabiness area. She married James Cravins on March 7, 1947, at Fayetteville, Ark. She lived and worked in California for 15 years after her marriage at an Arsenal in Benica, California. She returned here and worked at a store at Cabiness and Blevins Grocery from 1960 to 1967. In 1970, she received her Nursing Home Administrators License and worked at Regency House Nursing Home until she retired in 1995. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Arpelar. She died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 82. Survivors include her husband, James Cravins, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Lee McLain, of Plano, Texas, Sharon and Barney Wakole, of Stuart; grandchildren and spouses, Charles Allan and Kristine Griffin, of McAlester, Stephanie Lee and Darrel Hale, of Depew, Carmen Jean Wakole of Ada; great-grandchildren, Kayla Hauck, Brittany Hauck, Michael Hauck, David and Mary Griffin, Vanessa Griffin and Zackary Griffin. And, great-great-grandchildren, William and David Griffin; one brother, Charles Blevins, of Cabiness; stepmother, Della Mae Blevins, of McAlester; half-sisters and a spouse, Glenda and Charles Naush, Phyllis Lee, Vickie Moore; special friends, Jim and Bobbie Stephens, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Brian Wakole. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 3rd at Brumley-Mills Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Doke officiating. Burial will be at Blue Cemetery, six miles west of McAlester. Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.
