Donald John Kernstock, age 50 of Alger died Sunday, October 17, 2004. Mr Kernstock was born April 20, 1954 in Bay City, the son of Edmund and Elizabeth (Sharp) Kernstock. He had been a resident of Alger for the past 32 years, where he married Beatrice (Bell)on Febraury 4, 1978. He had been a firefighter with Moffatt Township Fire Deptember for more then 30 Years, was very active in his community, a memeber of the Faith Lutheran Church in Prescott, and worked as a tool and die machine operator for Ogemaw Forge for more than 28 years. Surviving are his wife Beatice of Alger, two daughter's, Stefanie Kernstock of Standish, and Tania (Tim) Turland of Alger, son John (Elizabeth Wiedyk) Kernstock of Sterling, one grandson Xaver. Two brother's William Kernstock of Standish, Gary (Janet) Kernstock of Alger, sister Barb (Lester) Eichman of Alger.
