Sig Andreasen, retired president of Bowie Industries, died February 8 in a Bowie Hospital at the age of 76. Funeral services were held February 10 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church with Rev. Jerry Bagwell officiating. Interment was in teh Lutheran Cemetery.

Andreasen was born January 9, 1908, in Bellem, Denmark. He had lived in Bowie 40 years. He was a member of the Lutheran church.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys; five sons, Wayne and Ernest Andreasen of Bridgeport; Terry and Tony andreasen, Bowie; and Dale Andreasen, Midland; six daughters, Betty Jackosn of Sunset; Iona Truax and Sylvia Morton of Bowie; Judy Rhyne, Owasso, Oklahoma; Beverly Andreasen, Austin; Arlene Johnson, Odessa; a brother, Axel Andreasen, Westby, Montana; three sisters, all of Denmark; 26 grandchildren adn nine great grandchildren.
