(Laona) Funeral services for George Gordon Kimball, 223, a television cameraman at station WFRV-TV, Green Bay, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Laona Presbyterian Church. Kimball died Monday night at Door County Memorial Hospital after an auto accident 10 miles south of Sturgeon Bay at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Frank D. Harris will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the VFW Post of Laona at the graveside. Friends can call at the Halverson Funeral Home, Crandon, until Thursday morning and then at the church. Mr. Kimball was born November 18, 1934, at Laona, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Kimball Sr. His mother was the former Violette Lemke. He moved to Green Bay in June 1947. He had served in the U.S. Army in Korea and was a member of the Laona Presbyterian Church and the Laona VFW Post. He attended the Green Bay Vocational School. He was not married. Survivors are his parents, four sisters, Arleen and Ila Mae, both of Laona; Mrs. Marilyn Shampo, Wabeno, and Mrs. Clarabelle McRae, Rhinelander; four brothers, Earnest, Laona; Delroy and Kenneth, both of Green Bay, and Walter, Wabeno, and his grandmothers, Mrs. Myrtle Kimball and Mrs. Clara Lemke both of Laona.
