Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Ann Kincaid, 95, were held at 3 P.M. April 21 in the Peerless Baptist Church, with the Rev. N.D. Gillmore officiating.
Mrs. Kincaid died at her home 901 Maple Street, Wednesday April 20. She had lived in Commerce since1955. She was born August 31, 1864 ,in Mississippi to Mr. and Mrs. Jim Ramsey. She married Thomas Kincaid in Tennessee and they moved to Texas in 1911, settling in Peerless. Mr. Kincaid died in 1931.
Surviving are six children, H.H. Kincaid of Commerce: Mrs. M. L. Free, Mrs. I.V. Lunceford, and L. A. Kincaid of Dallas. and W. H. Kincaid and Mrs. Ellie Onley of Fort Worth. Also surviving are 30 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David R. Free, James Ramsey, Olyn N. Nichols Jr., Odell Kincaid, Bazil Kincaid and Manvel Onley. Burial was in Peerless Cemetery.
