Funeral services for Geneva Janet Beasley, 63, will be held at 3 p.m. today at Friends Church with Pastor Nick Shaffer officiating. Interment follows in Alva Municipal Cemetery. Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. She passed away on February 13, 2004 at Share Medical Center. She was born on September 8, 1940 in Freedom, the daughter of Joseph Daniel and Lois Vernelia (Wheat) Davidson. She graduated from Alva High School with the Class of 1958. She married Marvin Leo Beasley on March 5, 1960 in Alva. He passed away on March 24, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Myrtle Annie Oakes. She is survived by her sister, Catherine Maude Terrel of Vici.
