Actor, Comedian. He is best remembered for playing the role of Nick Freno in the short-lived television series "Nick Freno: Licensed Teacher", which ran on the WB Network from 1996 to 1998. A native of Oakland, California, Mullany began his career in San Francisco as a stand-up comedian before entering films and television. His other credits include TV appearances on "The Wayan Brothers", "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper", "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno", and the films "The Breaks" (1999), and "The Sweetest Thing" (2002). He also hosted the reality-based game show "All American Girl" in 2003. He died from a diabetes-related stroke.
