Died in Prattville, Tex., Jan. 26th, 1883, Mrs. Lizzie Pratt, daughter of L. J. & P. A. Dickson of Cleaveland (sic) county, NC. Sister Pratt joined the M. E. Church, South, when about 14 years of age, and we learn by a letter from her daughter that she was ready when the summons came, and died in the full triumph of the Gospel Faith. Just before she died she sang some sweet hymns, and bade farewell to her friends. Thanks be to God for a triumphant death. - J. W. Jones (Raleigh Christian Advocate, Raleigh, NC, May 9, 1883 -
