Esther Rubin (nee Horwitz) 70, of Elyria, died Tuesday at Elryia Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Lithuania, she came to Elyria as a child.
Mrs. Rubin was a member of TempleB'Nai Abraham,Elyria,the Temple Sistierhood,and Hadassah.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs, Eric (Judith) Brook of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs Martin (Leslie) Darhansoff of New York City; three grandchildren; and a sister, Maxine Wolinsky of Cleveland.
Mrs Rubin was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Gerald, in 1983; and a borther, Meyer Horwitz.
Interment will be in Agudath Achim Cemetery, Elyria.
Family suggest contributions in memory of Mrs. Rubin be made to Temple B'Nai Abraham, 530 Gulf Rd. Elyria.
