Albert Theodore Romano, 85, of Louisville, Colo., died July 26 in Louisville.

He was born Sept. 9, 1914, in Louisville to Jolsomine and Annunciata Romano.

Mr. Romano had been a coal miner and was a carpenter for 50 years.

He married Magdalene J. Fladung on June 13, 1942, in Louisville.

He was a member of the Carpenters & Millwrights Union for 50 years. He was a member of the Elks Club and the Rod and Gun Club.

Mr. Romano is survived by his wife, Magdalene J. Romano of Louisville; daughter, Sharon R. Sibayan of Denver, Colo.; two sons, Theodore L. Romano of Cheyenne and Anthony E. Romano of Denver; two sisters, Louise Elwell of Louisville and Sabina Bailey of Denver; Seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Tony Romano and George Romano; and four sisters, Clementine Romano, Albina Romano, Annie DelPizzo and Mary Caranci.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. today at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Boulder, Colo. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church Cemetery.
