Edna G. Wisman, 97, died Saturday, May 24, 2008, at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Charles B. Wisman, and the late William E.T. Trout, who was a WWII fatality.

Mrs. Wisman was born October 5, 1910, in Shippensburg, a daughter of the late H. Angle and Mary (Hosfeld) Neff.

She had been employed at various sewing factories and had also been a waitress. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Wisman is survived by a daughter, Joanne G. Fortney and her husband, Edward "Bill" of York; a grandson, Chris Fortney and his wife, Debbie of York; a great-grandson Jeremy Weigel and his wife, Tammi; two great-great-granddaughters, Lexi and Courtney of Georgia; and a number of nieces and nephews.

ollowing cremation a graveside service will be at a later date in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
