Wayne Page Neil returned to his Heavenly Father, May 21, 2008, passing away at home in American Fork. He was born Dec 8, 1936 in Park City, Utah to Andrew Gordon Victor and Fannie Page Neil. He attended school in American Fork and worked for Geneva Steel. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He married Lois Ann Curtis, Sep 24, 1958 and they later divorced. On July 22, 1995 he married Loye Ann Scott and their marriage was solemnized Nov 24, 1999 in the Jordan River Temple.
Wayne raised his family in Lehi and was always of service to his children. He is the longest surviving person with a lung transplant from the University of Utah Medical Center and was grateful for the extra 15 years.
Survived by his wife Loye Ann, children, Scott Wayne (Carrie Ann) Neil; Diane (Kurt) Fraughton; Wendy (Dane) Petersen; Victor Veron (Tina) Neil; Barbara (Steve) Wright; Carol (Bill) Stump; Daniel (Kristin) Burr; Jared (Jenette) Burr; Brenda Burr (Dean Hood); Douglas (Lisa) Burr; Dennis (Alisa) Burr; Kristi (Aaron) Cook; Randall (Rachel) Burr; 49 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, brother Don Page (Clerece) Neil and mother-in-law Evelyn Scott.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 11 am in the American Fork Stake Center, 240 South Center. Friends may call Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E 100 N, American Fork and Tuesday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 am prior to the services.
