Vernon that I believe Donna was married to is Vernon Lee Indergaard 1932–2004. I also do not currently find a Find-A-Grave for him.

Donna Jean Halstengard, 71, Glendale, AZ, formerly of Velva and Bergen, ND, died February 1, 2008 in her daughter's home in Kingman, AZ. A funeral service was held February 8, 2008 at Alleluia Lutheran Church, Glendale.

Donna Jean Volbrecht was born April 5, 1936 at Turtle Lake, ND. Her family moved to the Velva, ND area, where she attended school and graduated from Velva High School in 1954. She attended summer school at Minot State College, where she earned her teaching certificate. She taught two years in rural Balfour country schools.

Donna married Ole Halstengard on May 30, 1960, and to this union four children were born. During their married life they lived in various towns in the Midwest with Ole's work with the Bureau of Reclamation. They retired to Glendale, AZ, spending their summers in Bergen, ND.

Those who shared in her life, Husband, Ole; children, Vonnie, Julie, Sue and Guy; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Snyder.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Loren.

Funeral Service: Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Valley Lutheran Church, Velva, ND.

Visitation: There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign the register one hour prior to the service in the church.

Burial: A double graveside service will be held Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. at the Bergen Cemetery for Donna and her brother-in-law, Henry Halstengard.
