Henry Fred Clarke 84 of Norwalk died of a heart aliment Saturday at home on his (Century 1894) farm. Services will be at 10 am Wednesday at Norwalk Christian Church (in which he help build) of which he was a member. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery at Orilla. A lifelong Norwalk resident. Mr. Clarke was a farmer and a member of the Masonic Lodge Order of Eastern Star and Warren County Historical Society. The Clarke Farm has had any farm animal you can think of through out varies years. Henry had crops he also enjoyed gardening and canning food. He was a craftsman of wood and iron (blacksmith and clock maker)He drove the horse drawing school bus. Among survivors are two sons Jim and Jody and a daughter Janice Stemler of Ankeny and 4 grandsons and 5 granddaughters Friends may call from 5 to 9 pm at Gallaway-McLaren's Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Norwalk Fire and Rescue Unit.
