Gladys was a resident of the Florida Farm Colony for the feeble minded. Later the name was changed to the Sunland Training Center to be more politically correct. She is buried in the State of Florida section of the cemetery for the residents that pasted away.
I am confused by the date of birth on the stone as the various census and birth records put her birth date as 20 Oct 1917. Also when seen in family photos it is obvious she is several years older than her sister Viola.
