Ernie Adams, 59, of Cerro Gordo died Saturday, October 27, 1951 at his home. He had been ill two years. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Freese Funeral Home with burial in Cerro Gordo Cemetery.
He was born November 2, 1891 in Piatt County, s/o Charles and Seretta Adams. He was married to Maude Miller of Cerro Gordo on December 24, 1921. He is survived by his wife; two daughters: Mrs. Martha Wood in Germany and Marcia of Cerro Gordo; and two sons: Robert Dale of Cerro Gordo; and Francis Lee of Gibson City. He also leaves his mother; a sister, Mrs. Mae Latch of Decatur; three brothers: Herbert of Cerro Gordo; and Clarence and Wilbur of Hot Springs CO; and three grandchildren.
He was a veteran having served in the Army during World War I.
