BILLIE DEAN HARPER DANIELS, 61, of Duncan, Okla., died Monday, May 26, 2008, in Oklahoma City.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Glad Tidings Assembly of God, with the Rev. John Douthitt Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Comanche, under direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.
She was born Dec. 27, 1946, in Comanche, to William "Bill" and Lucille Harper. She married Ralph Donald Daniels, who passed away in May 2002.
Billie lived in Duncan all her life. She was in the church choir at one time. She loved the Lord and all kids.
Survivors include a daughter, Retta Samantha Ann (Daniels) of Duncan; three adopted granddaughters, Aylissa Campbell, Summer and Autumn Hatfield of Bethany; a brother and sister-in-law, George and Carolyn Harper of Moore; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and John Byrd, and Dorothy and Charles Wood, all of Duncan; two nephews and a niece, Charles Wood Jr. of Duncan, and James and Heather Harper of Moore; two great-nieces, Camron and Sydney Wood of Duncan; and many adopted kids.
She was also preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Harper; her mother, Lucille Barnett Harper; and a sister, Bessie Ruth Ried.
Bearers will be James Harper, David Rochell, Ray Christian, Lynn Parkhurst, the Rev. Kenneth Brooks, Joe Anderson, Lyndol Brooks and Charles Wood.
Honorary bearer is Mark Watson.
