Muriel Lucille Hardgrave, 88, went to be with her Lord on May 15, 2007.

She was born September 26, 1919, in Clarksville, Arkansas, and spent her life in the Sulphur Springs Community. Her parents were the late Ben and Lela Harding Hardgrave.

Miss Hardgrave is survived by one brother, Ben F. Hardgrave of Clarksville. She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Ingram and Iva Ray, and three brothers, Robert, Haskell and Luster Hardgrave.

Muriel was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and spent much of her life caring for and about other people. She loved her family and always enjoyed spending time with them. Her favorite activities included going to hymn sings, quilting, reading, attending church and visiting with family and friends. She is going to be missed by everyone who loved her.

Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Union Grove Baptist Church under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Horne brought the message. Burial was at the Union Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ben Alfred Hardgrave, George (Junior) Kilgore, Brent Scott, Kenny Medeiros, Leland Danny Bean, and Gary Looper.
