PLAYERS IN DEMAND
LOCAL BASEBALL MEN WILL GET TRYOUT IN LEAGUES
Karl Meister, of this city, has signed a contract to play outfield this season with the Wausau, Wisconsin baseball team in the Wisconsin and Minnesota league.
Meister has played in fast company before and has a bright future before him. Last season he was a pitcher in the Virginia Valley league.
Pitcher Tom Hanley, who has made such a good showing in games in this city and surrounding towns, has been notified by telephone that he will probably be given a tryout this season with the Fort Wayne team in the Central league. His contract will probably arrive next week.
