HUNTSVILLE - Tina Mae Lawson, 70, of Huntsville died May 24, 2008, at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born June 28, 1937, in Huntsville to James Thomas and Alice Alma Johnson Bolinger.

She was a caregiver and attended the Huntsville Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Diann Walden; a husband, Ken McElhaney; and two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include a son, Leland Dowie Lawson of Dermott; a daughter, Deborah Jean Oropeza of Huntsville; the father of her children, Gleason Lawson of Huntsville; two brothers, J.L. Bolinger of Nortonville, Kan., and Charles Bolinger of Pleasant Valley, Mo.; six sisters, Maxine Beal and Lorene Bolinger, both of Wichita, Kan., Lucille Collins of Springdale, Polly Majors of Beaumont, Texas, and Vina Kidd and LaVera McFee, both of Huntsville; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville, online at www.brashearsfuneralhome.net.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Brashears Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jim Spurlock will officiate.

Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Bolinger, Cliff and David Cline, Greg Taylor, and Dwain and Kenney Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Beal, Jay and Jim Bolinger, Floyd Collins, Charles Junior Bolinger and Stanley Majors.
